خلاصه داستان: ایریس عاشق مردی شده که آن مرد قصد ازدواج با زن دیگری را دارد٬این وسط ٬آماندانا فهمیده است که مردی که با او زندگی می کند نسبت به او بی وفا شده است.آن 2 زن که تا حالا هیچوقت همدیگر را ندیده بودند و 6000 مایل با هم فاصله داشتند٬ همدیگر را پیدا کردند در جایی مشخص. آنها همدیگر را آنلاین ملاقات کردند در سایت مرکز مبادله خانه و ناخوداگاه خانه ای را برای تعطیلات انتخاب می کنند. ایریس حرکت می کند به طرف خانه ی آماندانا در لس آنجلس در هوای آفتابی کالیفرنیا طوری که آماندانا رسید بود با پوششی از برف. کمی بعد٬ از رسیدنشان به مقصد٬ دو زن پیدا کردن آخرین چیزی را که هردو می خواهند یا انتظار دارند:
یک داستان عاشقانه ی جدید آماندانا شیفته ی خوشتیپی ایریس و بردارش گراهام و....

They come upon a website called home exchange and swap houses for two weeks both with a goal to forget their troubled love lives. But love ends up finding them anyways. Amanda starts a romance with Iris' older brother, Graham, a book editor and Iris starts a romance with a movie composer named Miles. With new found romance, both their lives change forever
